| | Master Sergeant John Cisar | |
Master Sergeant John T. Cisar, a native of Maryland, serves as non-commissioned-officer-in-charge (NCOIC) of both the Heritage Brass Quintet and the unit's Public Affairs office.
Sergeant Cisar completed a Bachelor of Music degree (trombone) from the University of Oklahoma and a Master of Music degree from the University of North Texas. His former teachers include Royce Lumpkin, Irvin L. Wagner and Robert Tennyson. He worked as a freelance musician and music teacher before enlisting with the USAF in 1994.
In his spare time, Sergeant Cisar enjoys studying Asian culture, Chinese language, and spending time with his wife. He is also a cancer survivor since 2007, and supports disease-related charity events whenever possible.
