Technical Sergeant Bennett Weidemann

Technical Sergeant Bennett Weidemann, a native of Arkadelphia, Arkansas, is a percussionist with the United States Air Force Heritage of America Band. Additionally, he deployed with the AFCENT Band to southwest Asia in 2004 and 2008.

Sergeant Weidemann attended Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia, Arkansas, and completed an Associate's Degree in Applied Music from the Community College of the Air Force. He has studied with Steve Houghton, John "Muzz" Muzzy, Doug DeMorrow, Dr. Francis McBeth, and Eugene Corporon .

Prior to joining the United States Air Force, Technical Sergeant Weidemann toured with the OBU Wind Ensemble through Rome, Florence, Salzburg, Vienna, and Prague. He also performed for several on-stage productions, including "My Fair Lady," "You're a Good Man Charlie Brown," and "Festival of Christmas."
