| | Senior Airman Jonathan Virtue | |
Senior Airman Jonathan Virtue, from Collegeville, Pennsylvania, performs on lead trumpet with the USAF Heritage of America Band. He holds a Bachelor of Music Education degree and a Master of Music Performance degree from West Chester University of Pennsylvania. While pursuing his degrees he studied with Frank Kaderabek, Matthew Gallagher and John Swana. Prior to joining the Air Force, Airman Virtue performed extensively as a free-lance trumpet player on a national level. He has performed with artists such as Randy Brecker, Wayne Bergeron, Ernie Watts, Gordon Goodwin, Peter Erskine, the Capitol Bones Big Band, the Lars Halle Jazz Orchestra, and many more.
Airman Virtue is a music educator at heart. In his spare time, he stays active teaching lessons, clinics and master classes to all age levels. He would like to thank his family and friends for their unwavering support throughout his career; especially his parents, Barry and Janet.
